Friend...

A friend is like a cherry on the pie,
However you are, to increase your beauty, they give it a try.

A friend is like a melon, shall I tell you why?
To find one good you must one hundred try.

A friend shows his/her love in times of trouble.
And if you are being too proud, s/he'll burst the bubble.

A friend is someone we turn to when our spirit needs a lift.
A friend is someone we treasure, as friendship is a gift.

A friend is someone who fills our lives with beauty, joy and grace.
And makes the whole world we live in, a better and happier place.

A friend hears the song in my heart and sings it to me when my memory fails.
And when the ship of my life is wrecked in a whirlpool, to get me out safely, s/he'll become the sail.
