There comes a shower of rain,
Which takes away all the pain.
Every scintillating rain-drop.
Refreshes you like the green crop.
Swells up the bumbling and gushing river,
Presence of which gives an exciting shiver.
And suddenly one day God decides to be mean,
Something happens which you had not foreseen.
The heat increases and the river goes dry,
All you can do is cry, cry and cry...
Something you loved has gone away.
And your life has gone totally astray.
But God is actually testing you then,
This is when you know the brave men.
The evaporated drop will come down again,
Memories will however bring back the pain.
Without loss, there is nothing to gain,
How else will you appreciate the unseasonal rain.
This is the cycle of life which people don't get,
Past is something that you never forget.
Yet again we have a falling drop,
Your eyes are wet with the tear-drop.

Blessed
Sometimes there are small gestures which mean a lot... Something similar happened to me last night which made me feel I am blessed.
When you know you are the reason for a friends smile,
Who stays away a couple thousand mile,
The feeling is great, you feel blessed,
The happiness, something that can't be guessed.
Its amazing to have friends like thee,
Who make my life full of glee...
You are a darling, you are so sweet,
I am looking forward to the time when we meet.
Thanks for making my day last night,
Your excitement made everything bright !!!
One has to be lucky to have friends like you,
Which add the spices to life's stew... :)
